Some tools are bought 'off the rack' and used either as they come or else adapted according to my needs. Others are home made, or custom made for me. My blocks are cut to my specifications by master Ewald Drescher in Pulsnitz near Dresden, Germany. My brass decorative wheels are engraved to my specifications by Brian Skilton and Roy Pettitt of (P & S Engraving Portslade, England. More than 50 combs and over 70 brushes (both groups are growing constantly) are important co-workers in my studio. |
